G: (Gets the bill from the cashier) Five thousand three hundred yuan! You are kidding! The figure is far too much!

(由出纳员手上接过账单)5300元! 开玩笑! 这个数目太大了。

C: (Checks the bill ) Room charge for four and a half day, two breakfasts, three lunches and here is the charge for minibar service. Is that correct, sir?

(核对帐项)4天半的房租,两顿早餐,三顿午餐,这是享用小型酒吧内食物的费用,对不对。先生?

G: Wait a minute. Why four and a half day? I have reserved the room for four days only.

等等!为什么是4天半?我只预订了4天。

C: I’m sorry, sir. But because you check out at six o’clock, so there is an extra half day charge.

对不起,先生。由于你在下午6时退房,所以我们要多收半天房租。

G: But on one tells me there is an extra charge. Besides, I just stay a little bit longer.
